Phoenix, AZ (June 27, 2018) Jesse Morales died following a car wreck in Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency crews responded to the call around 1:30 p.m.
Phoenix police responded to the scene where a van with three adults and three children, ranged from 2 to 11, were hit by an exiting vehicle.
The impact of the crash caused the van to roll onto its side. Jesse Morales, 69, was the front passenger and died from his injuries from the accident. The 39-year-old driver also suffered serious injuries. Emergency responders transported both injured passengers to a local hospital. The other four passengers didn’t receive injuries but were still transported to a hospital
The other vehicle’s driver remained on the scene and didn’t appear to be repaired. The roadway was closed briefly and reopened later.
