Phoenix Driver Died After Being Ejected From Vehicle in Crash

Phoenix, AZ (June 28, 2018) – A Phoenix driver died after a crash ejected him from his vehicle on June 22nd, 2018. The driver of a Chevrolet Camero driving north on 24th St collided with a northbound Hummer HU2, according to a police spokesperson. The Camero rolled multiple times. The crash ejected the driver of the Camero, 40-year-old Augustin Galindo Chavez. He died at the scene.

The crash occurred near 24th St and Roeser Road around 9pm.

The driver of the Hummer sustained only minor injuries.

According to police, speed may have been a factor in the accident.
