We were thrilled to once again host a Merrillville Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway at the Dean and Barbara White Center, providing 750 families with meal bags packed with holiday essentials and a $25 grocery gift card. Families also enjoyed a sweet snack and refreshments while connecting with local resource booths featuring organizations such as Meals on Wheels, St. Jude House, and NorthShore Health Center.
The event was about more than just meals—it was a celebration of community, care, and kindness. Seeing families and individuals leave with smiles on their faces and connections to helpful resources reminded us why giving back is so meaningful.
