Quartzsite, Arizona (March 26, 2018) – Three California women died Saturday morning in a wrong-way vehicle collision in Quartzsite, Arizona due to life-threatening injuries. The collision occurred at around 10:50 a.m. March 24 on Interstate 10 at an off-ramp near mile-marker 31.
According to the authorities, a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Dana Cavanaugh of Washington, Utah, entered the interstate going the wrong-way and traveled about 500 feet before crashing into the three women.
55-year-old Susan Bradbury, 31-year-old Christine Bradbury, and 31-year-old Caitlin Cascella died due to severe injuries sustained in the crash. Cavanaugh was taken to a hospital and later booked into jail on suspicion of homicide.
The crash remains under investigation.
