Scottsdale, AZ (July 19, 2018)- Two people were hospitalized following a crash; Scottsdale firefighters had to rescue a victim who remained trapped early Thursday morning.
Crews responded to a two-car crash near Shea Boulevard and 70th Street shortly after midnight, according to the Scottsdale Fire Department.
One of the responding crews used extraction tools to cut the doors off and remove the victim from the car, according to the Scottsdale Fire Department.
Both injured parties received medical treatment and were transported to local trauma centers; their conditions are currently unknown.
The intersection of Shea Boulevard and 70th Street remained closed while the investigation of the crash was underway. It reopened prior to the morning commute.
