North Phoenix Pedestrian Struck and Killed Friday Night

Phoenix, AZ (April 28th, 2018)- A car struck and killed a North Phoenix pedestrian on Friday night. The car in question was a Ford Mustang. The accident occurred around 8 p.m. Friday near 25th Place and Union Hills Drive, according to the Phoenix Police Department spokesperson.

Witnesses said the pedestrian crossed the street mid-block when the Mustang approached, driving west on Union Hills.

According to the police, the pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police also stated that impairment didn’t appear to factor into the crash. The driver remained at the scene post-accident.
