Multiple Crashes Outside Phoenix

October 14, 2018- Sunday, motorists reported multiple crashes, along Interstate 17. Traffic into the Phoenix Valley slowed almost to complete stop. See where these crashes occurred below.

All of the accidents happened on the I-17 southbound. The most northern took place near Camp Verde. Cars could not drive in the blocked right lane. The left lane completely shut down.

Another left lane closure occurred south of Areosanti and north of Cordes Lakes, near Table Mesa Road. This closure ended around 4:30 pm. Traffic remained extremely slow south of this second accident. This happened because of a third accident, located between Black Canyon and New River. The three accidents happened in close succession, causing multiple delays at the same time.

Multiple crashes all along the same time certainly caused a headache for other drivers. The Arizona Department of Transportation advised drivers to expect long delays. Additionally, they also suggested an alternate route for motorists to take to avoid I-17. They advised that those headed to Phoenix get off the interstate before Prescott, and follow SR 89 southbound. They would be able to reconnect to their original route after following US 93.

Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys wish easy recoveries for all involved in these multiple crashes.
