Peoria, AZ (May 2, 2018)– 21-year-old Jennifer Adamaitis died because of an early morning Peoria crash.
Police said that Adamaitis T-boned a pickup truck after failing to stop for a red light. The accident happened near 87th Avenue and Cactus Road around 4:30 a.m.
The police also stated that Jennifer Adamaitis died on the scene. The driver of the pickup truck suffered only minor injuries and, also fully cooperated with officers.
While the police continue to investigate, possible impairment of Adamaitis could have factored in the crash.
As a result of the crash, Cactus Road closed from 83rd to 91st Avenues for part of the morning for the accident investigation.
