Phoenix, Arizona (April 7, 2018) – A pedestrian, George Hatch, in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday in Phoenix. The crash happened March 16, on 19th Avenue near Sunnydale Avenue, according to a Phoenix Police report.
73-year old George Hatch was trying to cross 19th Street when a vehicle heading northbound hit him. Hatch was transported to a local hospital where he was declared dead.
Impairment was not a factor in the crash.
Lastly, police are investigating the crash.
