Las Vegas, NV (November 23, 2018)- A DUI crash caused critical injury and an arrest early Thanksgiving Day. Two drivers were involved, one driving a Scion, the other, a Corolla.
The accident occurred around 12:30 am in southwest Las Vegas near Bermuda Rd and Silverado Ranch Boulevard. The driver of the Scion, a 37-year-old male, was impaired while driving and heading east. The other driver, a 39-year-old male, headed east.
The impact occurred when the driver of the Scion attempted to change lanes. This placed him directly in the path of the Corolla. Both drivers were severely injured and taken University Medical Center.
Afterwards, the impaired driver was booked and moved to prison. This was not his first DUI offense. He had been accused back in 2015 and had chosen DUI education classes as a part of his sentence.
