Sierra Vista, AZ (May 18, 2018)- A van killed 71-year old David Alva of Hereford after a collision on May 8th. The collision happened around 1:36 pm, near Buffalo Soldier Trail just south of Garden Avenue.
The Sierra Vista Police released the identity of the driver of the van. Jared McDonald, 31, of Tucson is facing multiple charges, including second-degree murder, negligent homicide, manslaughter, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence and driving under the influence.
McDonald was arrested at the scene of the crash, according to police.
