Mesa, AZ (July 20, 2018)- According to local authorities, Daniel Junior Infante rolled through a red light in Mesa. He had fallen asleep at his steering wheel, with a toddler in the backseat of the car.
The Mesa police report states that around 5 o’clock on July 14th, Infante’s vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of McDowell and Higley roads.
Authorities say that Daniel Junior Infante had drifted off to sleep when his car passed through the red light.
Police also say that the suspect was clutching an open 24-ounce beer can with his hand, between his leg. Authorities also discovered a one-year-old, in a car seat, in the back of the car with beer at the child’s feet.
The police on-scene stated that Infante’s initial breath alcohol test registered him with a BAC of .302 which is almost four times the legal limit of .08. Daniel Junior Infante has been charged with extreme DUI.
