Phoenix, AZ (May 1, 2018)- A pair of Phoenix accidents on Interstate 17 critically injured two people and killed two others Monday morning. A good Samaritan and a motorcyclist died near Union Hills Drive because of the crashes. Two other good Samaritans were injured when trying to reach the cyclist. The Arizona Department of Public spokesman said that another would-be rescuer escaped unharmed.
These wrecks shut down the southbound lanes and the eastbound and westbound ramps at Loop 101.
Four people were treated at the scene, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
